Lymm MOT Centre is looking for a full-time or part-time Mechanic / MOT Tester to join our friendly team.
🔹 MOT Testing qualification is not essential – for the right candidate, we’re happy to fund the training and qualification after an initial agreed period.

Next Tuesday marks one whole year of Lymm MOT Centre — and what an incredible 12 months it’s been! From the first day we opened our doors, we’ve been overwhelmed with the warmth, support and trust shown by people from our community and beyond. Meeting so many wonderful folk who have trusted us with their vehicles — whether for MOTs, servicing and repairs or just friendly advice — has truly made this first year something special.
Over the past 12 months, we’ve also had the privilege of being part of something much bigger than just car maintenance — helping raise funds for Oliver Abel's Wish has been one of the highlights of our journey so far. The generosity of our customers, friends and neighbours has been inspiring, and we’re so grateful for every contribution that helped support this meaningful cause.

To help us continue doing great work — both in the garage and in the community — we’re on the lookout for a part-time MOT tester / mechanic to join our team, with the potential for the role to become full time.
Don’t worry if you’re not already fully qualified as an MOT tester — what matters most to us is a positive attitude, good mechanical knowledge and the desire to learn. We’re very happy to support the right person through gaining their MOT qualification once they’re settled into the role.

Today at Lymm MOT Centre, we had the absolute pleasure of working on one very very good-looking Abarth 124 Spider — and yes, it looked even better in person than in photos! 😍
This little Italian roadster is not just a pretty face — it’s full of character, performance, and enough personality to make your neighbour jealous. Here’s why the Abarth 124 Spider always turns heads:
